Safety & Maintenance
Flynn’s Coaches operate a workshop at our main depot in Brackhill Castlemaine, Co Kerry, designed to maintain our own fleet, we set our standards high to ensure a trustworthy service and to provide safe and reliable vehicles to all our clients.
All our vehicles are inspected on a 6 week routine maintenance programme by our team of 3 dedicated mechanics.
Our drivers are fully trained in ‘drivers walk round check’ techniques. The driver walk round check is an inspection of a pre-determined list of items such as tyres, lights, body work etc. to ensure the vehicle is prepared for the journey ahead. This check is carried out at the beginning of every day and all drivers regularly undergo refresher training and a new driver CPC (Certificate of Professional Competency) is carried out using an external trainer.
Our workshop is in operation 5 days a week, Monday to Friday 07.00 – 17.00.
